Description

Technology is making life easier, but at what cost? Join James Bran on a comedic exploration of phone addiction, privacy paranoia and his take on the "disruption" of democracy by a handful of data-snatching tech firms. Should we try to turn this around or should we just embrace our newly filtered lives? Most importantly, can technology be used to make comedy funnier? Is stand-up comedy something you can hack? It’s time for some comedy analytica. 'Edgy entertainment you'd be silly to miss' **** (ThreeWeeks). 'Guaranteed to have you in stitches' **** (BroadwayBaby.com).

I was getting a bit weary after seeing a dozen shows but this was really refreshing. Punchy, witty and poignant.

Really really funny show with a fabulous topic. Informal and easy to watch but also intriguing and stimulating - would definitely recommend!

So far the best show I’ve seen at #EdFringe19 - very, very funny break down of how we all knowingly, naively or unwittingly allow Big Tech to invade our lives and take away our privacy. Good mix of personal and political

Really good show. Current, topical, thought-provoking and funny. Also includes life-hacks about bananas that may save you literally seconds over the next few years. 5 stars, would definitely recommend!

Comedy with a powerful message. If it's quick, cheap laughs you are after then this isn't for you. It's funny, interesting and captivating, taking you through the journey of tech advancement but with a comedic twist. The best show we saw at the fringe!

This is a great title. It could be referencing hackneyed comedy or internet ethics. Either way, it piques our interest. Turns out it’s the latter. And from the screen and Apple Mac on stage, we recognise from the outset that we’re in for a techy time with comedian and poet...
