Description

Inspirational, passionate and unconventional; the world famous dancer Isadora Duncan was one of America's greatest performing artists and is widely known as the mother of modern dance. Shocking audiences by dancing barefoot and barelegged, her revolutionary ideas on free expression transformed the dance world and her notorious private life scandalised society. Written, choreographed and performed by Elizabeth Blake, this production gives an insight into Isadora's extraordinary life and art and includes a reimagining of some of her iconic dances. 'Beautiful and inspiring dancing... the acting was brilliant' (Trowbridge Town Hall Arts).
