Description

Irish female sketch-comedy duo MEELAGOOLA bring you a fast-paced, high-energy, satirical spectacle! Have we actually progressed backwards? Is wellness really that well at all? We’ll be serving you a platter of unapologetic, slapstick sketches through the outlandish characters that we all know and (sometimes) love. Grieving ghosts of dating past, compare and despair culture, toxic positivity, toddlers on TikTok, the lack of craic and the race to have your shit together by 30! Jaysus, the world’s gone a bit serious lads! Or Is It Just Us?!

This was a very fun and very surprising show to watch.
A lot of witty humor mixed with present day topics.
(The game show was definitely my favorite)
I'm definitely checking these girls out next year if they have a new sketch show!

An hour well spent snorting with laughter in the corner of a very small but cosy room! They reminded me of a young Doon Mackichan and Sally Phillips, very energetic and slightly surreal.

I really enjoyed the show - high energy & lovable performers. I particularly found the toddlers on Tik-Tok absolutely hilarious - so well observed & skilfully performed!!

That’s an hour of my life I will never get back. I’m sorry to be so harsh, but not one single joke. Not everyone can do comedy and I am surprised your loved ones haven’t stopped you from performing. It was honestly the worst thing I have seen at the festival this year.

This is a fast moving, high energy show which is performed by two excellent actors.
In this lovely compact venue you will feel part of the fun and craic, as these actors engage with you and bring you on a journey with their satirical but totally relatable sketches.
5 star performance, not to be missed!!

This show is an experience!! Very intimate venue and the performance is fast paced and high energy. Raw comedy that takes aim at the modern woke world in an accurate yet hilarious way. Craic indeed!!

This show was really great. I went with three other friends and we all said it was one of the best things we saw at Fringe. Would definitely recommend it was nice and fast paced and the sketches were all really funny.

This is a fast, funny, impressive show! Both performers have excellent range and stage presence. The sketches move fast and cover an array of topics. I was never bored and often delighted! It’s also a lovely intimate venue where every seat is a good one.
