Description

Actor, writer, director, former rector of Glasgow University and wild swimmer – although not all at the same time – Greg Hemphill is without doubt one of the main players in the firmament of Scottish comedy. Born in Glasgow, raised in Montreal but unquestionably made in Craiglang, this is a unique chance to catch up with the multi-talented co-creator of Scotland’s most-loved situational comedy, discover the man behind Victor McDade and discover if Greg Hemphill is still game.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Stand 3 is accessible from the pavement with steps leading to a courtyard. The venue is situated in the basement part of the building. There are 15 steps in total with a 90 degree turn on a stone staircase with handrails. Once inside the Stand 3 has a further 3 steps indoors before leading to the main space. Staff are always available to assist, however we cannot help to carry customers.
  • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible

  • Stairs: 11- 20
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
