Description

Only fools are heroes... The 'hilarious' (Reviews Hub) Hivemind are back at the Fringe from their sell-out London run. You create a superhero and we’ll create a fully improvised Marvel blockbuster full of dizzying action sequences, special effects and a live score. We may not have CGI or a billion dollar budget, but we do have... enthusiasm. And a whole lot of crash mats. Perfect family-friendly comedy! 'Their split-second reflexes and feats of mental elasticity were awe-inspiring' ***** (LondonTheatre1.com).

If you haven't choked laughing at a superhero with two snooka balls in a sack yet, there is no way you could allow yourself to miss this show. Great chemistry between the actors and super atmospheric live piano music & lights!

Gets better and better, will absolutely see them again!

Excellent show, really enjoyed the team: they worked very well together, were very witty and clever and put together a very funny show. Had an excellent time!

Music and lighting was nice and really added to show, but the improvisation really lagged behind in comparison to similar shows in terms of creativity and funny moments. Good effort from the performers but in my opinion at the current moment of their improv career it would have to be a free ticketed show .

Brilliantly funny, inventive and improvised.
This cast work so well together and the music and lighting just add to the experience.

Hilarious, dynamic improv from a talented cast. I also saw Hivemind’s other, similarly excellent show, Lord of the Game of the Ring of the Thrones - all the material was still fresh, with no recycling between the two. Do yourself a favour, see both! 5/5

Ella Margolin 88 days ago

Sharp and fast paced improv with a really strong cast. I couldn’t stop giggling the whole way through! Definitely worth seeing!

Inigo Lapwood 88 days ago

At least twice as good as the scripted Avengers. 5*

Improvengers: Pretendgame is an ambitious concept without the follow-through.Hivemind starts the show by collecting ideas from the audience for superhero names and unusual powers which are later incorporated into the show. As with all improv, each night is different, and unfortunately our version wasn’t as ‘super’ as we might have...
