Description
Dave’s relationship with art is not going well, in more ways than one. In one half of this play, he struggles to navigate the minefield of modern LGBTQ+ relationships with his boyfriend. In the other, he tries to justify being an artist to notable presences in his life ranging from his mum to his (prospective) agent. Travelling from a gay club to a church, a coffee shop to a cemetery and incorporating movement and music throughout, this play is as funny as it is poignant and as universal as it is personal. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. TL;DR - “Human, poignant, truthful and brave, ‘I’ve Never Met Anyone Quite Like You’ is one of the best queer stories I have ever had the honour of witnessing.”

I love this show. It has everything. Beautiful script, wonderful performances. So many relatable themes to anyone with a soul. Can’t wait to see more from this group!

I really enjoyed this show and loved the dual content being shifted back and forth. I found some parallels in my life that were both touching and interesting how things can be different when you take a different path. Definitely would love to see more about David and Art.
