Description

Enjoy a deliciously wild ride on a brand-new play by writer-director Emilie Biason and confess: some exes are better off dead. I Killed My Ex is a hilarious dark comedy following two dear friends, Tina and Lola, who impulsively kill Tina's ex after he leaves her at the altar, embarking on a hectic journey to get rid of his body. Jump in the dark with your new fav clumsy killers in this funny, provocative social critique, and let's face it: a woman should never be left at the altar.

OK I declare my interest; my second cousin is co star, but she did not write this. It is simply a fabulous way to spend an hour, Dark humour and some plot twists and enjoyable stage craft makes it a fabulous play.

Absurd fun with electric chemistry between the leads. Tarantino esque

I really enjoyed this show. It is tightly written, sometimes absurd, fast-paced and funny. Great performances from the two actors, who compliment each other well.

Absolutely brilliant. The writing was outstanding, filled with layers, intriguing characters, and twists that really packed a punch. Plus, it had us laughing non-stop and had this cool camp vibe going on. Class-show.
Stands tall as the best we've laid eyes on at the Fringe!

A fantastic piece of debut writing, performed by two highly accomplished actors at the top of their game. I Killed My Ex deals beautifully with the topics of friendship, jealousy and romantic naiveté in a heartfelt, yet comedic fashion. This great two-hander deserves far bigger audiences for what is an original and stand-out show.

One of the best shows I have seen at the Fringe, and I have visited every year since 1992.
Hilarious, dark, great characters, brilliantly played, fantastic script. I gave them a standing ovation.
A must see.

A playful (and ever so cathartic) dark comedy that questions the boundaries of unconditional love versus self-respect.
