Description

'The need for speed!' This thrilling cross between Fleabag and Top Gun is written and performed by Loree "Rowdy" Draude, one of the first women to fly combat jets for the U.S. Navy. Loree captivatingly recounts her path to accidental aviation pioneer as she takes the audience on a fascinating and exhilarating tour of the flights and fights of her life. Whether in the cockpit masterfully bringing her jet in for landing on an aircraft carrier, or navigating the adventures, humour and tragedies of life, Loree has what it takes to be a true 'top gun'.

Truly inspiring show by Loree!

Her story is well worth listening to, and leaves us with food for thought about whether there is life beyond what we have grown so fond of doing over the past several decades!

Gripping autobiographical story, not just about a career in the US Navy but with lots of very personal anecdotes on a journey through life. Superbly well crafted script very professionally packaged ready for a TED talk. Go see it.

This is a really great show, which I thoroughly recommend. It’s a fascinating account from one of the first women to fly as an aircraft carrier aviator. It also finishes in a rather inspiring manner, discussing how we all worry too much about what others think of us. You only truly answer to the person in the mirror.

Saw “I Feel the Need” about a US Naval Aviator. Fascinating and moving account from a female US Air Force pilot. Highly recommend.

The highs and lows in the life of a true Top Gun. Slickly delivered and entirely engrossing.

Enjoyed this, an excellent and professional performance from someone with a very interesting (life) story to tell. The hour whizzed by, never flagged.

Highly recommended. Loved this one-woman show. Being a Navy pilot is nothing like Top Gun she says and goes on to tell you how it really is. Wonderful story teller with humour and poignant stories.
