Description

The Hyenas are taking you out-out on the hen do of your life! So buckle up and suck into that polyester dress! Expect audience participation, crap karaoke and pray we make it out alive! ***** (NorthWestEnd.co.uk). **** (AYoungerTheatre.com). It’s a cocaine cat fight! Everybody knows the bride is making the biggest mistake of her life, but her friends are too sh*t faced to care. Let’s face it, they're only here for the likes and to get away from their fake plastic lives. Produced by award-winning Sugar Butties, Hyenas! is a feminist dark comedy focusing on themes of mental illness.

One of the best shows we've seen so far. So funny but also serious with a great variety of really well played characters. Would highly recommend seeing.

Very good performance. Amusing skit on a certain kind of woman intent on enjoying herself, often at expense of others, and trying desperately to ignore the unsatisfying aspects of her life.
5 stars.

Loved the show, very charismatic and skilled as she switched between different characters. Really funny, would absolutely recommend

The familiar loud screams, overexcited behaviour and exaggerated niceties are all too familiar to anyone who has attended a “stereotypical” hen party. When strangers are invited to celebrate the alleged “last night” of freedom of their relation, friend or work colleague anything can happen and often does. HYENAS is no exception.
