Description
How to Be a Man is a solo character/clown fever dream about the dehumanizing standards of performative masculinity. It is a personal expression of my deep curiosity in the patriarchy and its discontents; a stupid, silly, and fun takedown of what it means to be a "man”.Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. One of the best free shows I have seen at the Fringe in years.
Me and my friends were crying laughing at some points. Genuinely hilarious and unexpected, have been recommending to everyone.

Great show! It started a little slow, but it accelerated into a crazy ride. In the best possible way. Crowd work was on point, and it had me and my friends in tears through most of the show.
It is quite a weird time to be a man and talk about masculinity, but it is imperative to have this view. If you ever wondered about manhood, this show is a must-see.

I came expecting stand-up… it wasn’t standup. I’m still not entirely sure what just happened in the last hour but I laughed so hard I peed a little. Also think George may have stalked my tinder matches for content.
Brilliant show. Purple potato.

A partly true story about a trip to Bali leading to an examination of what it means to be a man.
Until very recently, this show was tagged as not allowing reviews here. Was that because it wasn't good?
No, it's wonderful!
Funny, moving, and - not least because bits of it are going to be different each night because of the audience interaction - something it's very tempting to see more than once.
Fabulous stuff.
