'Kitty my hands have disappeared. Pardon?' Every Wednesday evening, Jimmy calls Kitty. Jimmy attempts to deal with his recent redundancy, his estrangement from his daughter and the fact he is literally becoming invisible. He turns to Kitty, an adult chat-line operator who dreams of becoming a psychologist and who has some theories about Jimmy’s gradual disappearance. This unlikely duo turn each other’s worlds upside down, finding in each other a sense of purpose and belonging. A funny and moving play exploring loneliness and longing in a world of phone-sex workers and drive-through doughnut restaurants.
