Hello, we're Ell and Mary. We're best friends and ex-girlfriends and we're bored of playing it cool. So this is a show about what gets you hot. We asked women and transpeople aged 11-97 what makes them sweat, rub and gush. OK, we didn't ask the 11-year-old exactly the same questions. We made a sweaty verbatim dance party out of their answers. Following five-star sell-out runs at the Fringe and Soho Theatre, HOTTER returns for a limited run only. 'Vulnerable, charming, and electric' ***** ( ***** ( **** (ThreeWeeks).

I saw this show days ago and am still reflecting on how excellent it was. A fantastic piece which covers so many topics in such a refreshing way that you leave with it on your mind. Both warms your heart, makes you think, cry and gets you up dancing. Quite simply, a must-see.

100% recommend.

Incredibly fun show, uplifting, energising, exciting... and it comes with a message. The message will hit you hard and you will cry and feel emotions. It's ok, you will soon realise that everyone had to go naked because the show was incredibly emotionally hot

just wow. i loved this show more than words can express. i'm 58 and i laughed, i cried (a lot) and I danced on stage, and none of that's my style...thank you Ell and Mary. please write another show soon.

I thought this was great. A blend of movement, humour and incredibly touching moments from two great performers. If it was all true then the vulnerability, relationship and facing of fears was wonderful to behold. If it was fictional then excellent acting because I was convinced it was all true and honest. Really glad I went to see this and so glad we got in because we dramatically lost our tickets ten minutes before it started but that’s another story.
(Note to cast - sorry we ended up behind you at the end instead of in front. Long story!)

Faux fur, funky tunes and finger fun: Ell Potter and Mary Higgins flamboyantly delve into all things sex. In a playful yet thought-provoking piece, the women re-enact a series of verbatim interviews, each exploring what gets people hot and, in turn, revealing the diversity of experience regarding sexuality. The rip-roaring...

Mary Higgins and Ell Potter are posing on the stage, decked out in fur coats and sunglasses in a very sweaty, darkroom. They are best friends and ex-girlfriends who, crucially, put a deposit down on a fringe v...

Broadway World (4/5 stars) 87 days ago

Mary Higgins and Ell Potter interviewed women and trans people from the age of 11 to 97 about what gets them 'hot'. Some of the accounts are about being sweaty hot, some are about feeling *wink, wink* hot, and some are simply what makes a person tick. Their findings are...

In whichever way you choose to describe your interpretation of HOTTER one thing is for sure, it will make you feel something, it will make you think long and hard about the life you’ve led and the life you want to lead, and it will teach you to celebrate everything about your life, even masturbating.
