Description

On the eve of an Indian wedding an anxious bride-to-be is having intricate henna patterns applied to her hands. As the patterns emerge, stories begin to unfold. Join British Punjabi storytellers Peter and Gorg Chand as they explore evocative landscapes set in the present but seeped in the past. This is a collection of stunning tales telling of shape-shifters, mighty women, and the god of death taking a feisty wife. Join them as they bring these tales of love, loss and betrayal to life in their own unique way. You are cordially invited to the wedding of the year...
