Description

From labour to rest... The turn of a season... For three days each year, a harvest moon illuminates the diverse landscapes and cultures that comprise Europe, laying bare the passions, joys and tribulations of this challenging season. From the rugged Northern Isles to the seas of Cornwall, from the arid expanse of Southern Spain to Romania and Albania. Journals, harsh medieval lullabies, storytelling, agricultural history, John Clare, John Masefield, John Ireland, Manuel de Falla, Lorca. Power and passion. Transported to another time and place.
