Description

A true story of deception, magic and torture. 1605. Two boys have been murdered. Their mum wants justice. Hot from their five-star sell-out show Belly Up, DIRTY HARE present Gunter: a chaotic reimagining of the most notorious bewitchment case you've never heard of. THE GOOD
* Historian Rockstar. Lydia Higman's versatile musical touch made history hit all the right notes.
* Artful Alchemy. A mix of poetry and song, perfectly animating the annals of time.
* Courtroom Realness. Trials so immersive, you'll swear you're seated in the jury box.

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
* Finishing Touches. Some of the scenes felt like they could use a bit more polish.

An incredible feat of performance, creativity, and athleticism!! Gritty with elements of dark humor, leans more into musical storytelling than your typical musical. RUN and see this show!

Gunter is an incredible piece that dismantles the rhetoric that oppressed women in the past, by reinventing and revolutionizing the rules of storytelling in the present.
