I overall enjoyed the podcast recording, it was fun and entertaining however it wasn't quite what I was expecting and I was a bit disappointed.

I am a big GF fan and know the podcast well and I would say it is generally fairly chaotic and doesn't always have the best structure which I don't really mind, but being there in person made it seem even more chaotic (as I guess all the faffing is normally edited out before you listen)

DFW had her phone on her the whole time, and was texting the producer (her husband) about timings, he then jumped on stage half way through to say they'd run over and to hurry up. Then the two guests they had came on for a pretty rushed couple of interviews, one could only stay for 5 minutes or so as she had a show to run off to.

DFW stood up to do a monologue/performance and read from her phone the entire time, there were quite a few trip ups/mistakes and it felt completely unrehearsed. I was disappointed to spend £18 on a ticket to watch someone read from a phone.

I understand that this is primarily a podcast, so most people enjoying it will not be 'seeing' it, but I felt like there wasn't much regard for people who were there to see a performance. Perhaps some people would enjoy feeling you are seeing a bit behind the scenes but I didn't feel it was worth the money and in future would just enjoy the podcast.
