Wondered how they were going to get this film into an hour show but they managed to do so brilliantly.

I couldn't stop smiling all the way through this performance

As a fan of the film. I was beyond happy at this stage adaptation.

Huge kudos to the performers on stage who brought all the nuances we loved from the film to the play

I am still smiling as I write this review. Brilliant

The cast bring to life all the settings and the action without the aid of props or a set, and cleverly deliver freeze frame and slow motion scenes thanks to some great choreography. The result is a play that will appeal to audiences whether or not they are familiar with the original movie.

Fabulous, brilliant and heart warming! Transported us back to the wonderful memories of the much viewed film with warmth, humour and great memories, played out out in a very clever and engaging way. If this film had any part in your life you will love this show, a really talented cast , well worth seeing.

A great stage adaptation of the film. The fantastic cast capture the fun and angst of the original. An 80's musical soundtrack sets the tone. If you loved the film you won't be disappointed with this production. Go see this and have fun. *****

5 stars! If you loved the original movie, do yourself a favour and go and see this production, I promise you won't be disappointed! Captivate Theatre couldn't have done a better job! All the classic scenes are there and reproduced with tender loving humour and care. Blown away by their authenticity! From the opening scene you know you are in good hands! Every member of the cast is amazing. Booked this on a whim of nostalgia for the film and kept our fingers crossed it might deliver... they truly nailed it!! Great night out and topped off with some great 80's music classics. Thank you for a great night!!

Haven’t seen the movie but the show can stand alone. The acting was excellent, controlled, subtle mania. The director used the space well and the actors thrives in the intimate.
Oh and if was funny !

Excellent show. Made a small venue come to life with the story of Gregory's Girl. Professional cast with excellent acting , especially the actor playing Susie! . If you love the film you'll love this. Highly recommend!

Pure dead brilliant.

Watched the film when it was first released and seen it several times since. Didn't think a play version could match the film but I was gladly incorrect. Magic acting from all I was loving every minute and the main character resembled John Gordon Sinclair in every mannerism. If you know and love the film go see this....they even had the penguin :-)

Funny, easy to watch, 'show with flow'. It was all over too soon! I'd recommend - even to those who haven't seen the film. ****

I loved the film and thought the play might not live up to it but it was great. Really enjoyed everything about it - the performances and the music. Recommended.
