Description

Lucy is average, awkward and unassuming. And, when it comes to sex, what she lacks in experience, she makes up for in curiosity. That’s all set to change. On a night of firsts, she opens the door to a world of relationships and sex that she had only ever dreamt about. But, is the reality all she had hoped it would be? GirlPlay is an exploration of love and sex spun out in slam. Reviews from audio version: ‘A powerful examination of emotion, sex and the female body’ ***** (TheWeeReview.com). 'Littered with firsts – and thirst' **** (Stage).

I’ve never seen anything like this and absolutely loved it! The cast did such an incredible job of captivating the audience. The themes of the show were explored so well and everything they said was totally spot on.

An absolutely beautiful piece of new writing - it really draws you in and takes you on an emotional journey. Very impressive and definitely this year's "hidden gem" after the first few weeks of the Fringe!

The best show I’ve seen at fringe. It was beautiful to see Irish feminism presented in such a liberated form, genuinely beautiful. Go see it then talk about it, then see it again.

Absolutely brilliant! This play hit so hard, I left genuinely speechless and bought the script straight afterwards. If you’re going to see anything at Fringe, see this.
