Description

A Scot who has escaped from Australia after 16 years with stories to tell about her life as an ex-cougar in Australia. Gill's life has had some ups and downs, and has some bizarre stories, some believable and some not... but would she lie to you? Gill embodies a wild aunty vibe who always says just what you wish you could. A late bloomer with unstoppable energy, a cheeky smile and a pinch of inappropriateness, Gill will have you laughing out loud with her relatable, spicy stories about relationships, families and cheese.

Absolutely brilliant from the moment we sat down. Funniest show I’ve seen at the fringe so far! Gill had the whole audience roaring. Recommending to everyone I know!!

Popped along with my other half (and a few stragglers we picked up on the way) to see Gill’s show. Brilliantly funny, very at ease with the audience and keep to encourage participation although she wad very respectful! Clever, funny and charming. Highly recommended.

Although I knew Gill as a student, who was always hilariously funny, I took two friends with me to see her show and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Firstly, she is still hilarious, the whole room thought so. Her revelations about her life are always observed from a slightly ridiculous and ludicrous viewpoint. Honest and self deprecating, this makes her comedy highly relatable, you cringe and laugh in equal measure. Gill’s delivery is unique and showcases her artistic training. Thoroughly enjoyable hour with stories I find myself giggling about days later. Highly recommend.

Had an absolute blast at this show - we went on a Thursday and even to our small audience that day we were all roaring laughing. Probably the most eclectic crowd there - maybe even met a serial killer…so defiantly funny I would highly recommend. 5 stars ⭐️

Gill is absolutely hilarious! We saw her as part of comedy variety show, and immediately knew we had to see her show. Her energy is infectious! She is the woman you want to be both your mom and your best friend. Highly recommended if you’re keen for a laugh about everyday realities.
