Description

Winner of UK Jazz Act Of The Year and Vocalist of the Year at the 2022 Jazz FM awards, Georgia Cécile is at the helm of the new wave of UK jazz crossover artists. Her sound has been described as having retro jazz, soul and R&b influences; particularly the girl groups of the 60s and 70s. She perfectly mixes classic songwriting with contemporary production and modern vitality – keeping storytelling and impeccable vocals at the forefront. Her new album Sure Of You features Georgia with her partner, pianist Fraser Urquhart, with whom she is appearing.
