Description

Gecko 3 play a dance-friendly mix of funk, latin, hip hop, jazz and reggae. The trio lay down the grooves with double bass, guitar, drums and a little vocal dexterity – their sets ranging from banging floor-fillers to laid-back acoustic poetry. Gecko 3 have supported Nizlopi, the Quantic Soul Orchestra, Five Corners Quintet, Roy Ayers and Cibelle and have gigged as KT Tunstall’s backing band. They have toured in America and Europe, including shows at Ronnie Scott’s, The 12 Bar, The Brussels Jazz Marathon, and Ca Jazz a Huy. 'Seriously catchy’ (IndieLaunchpad.com).
