Description
Would you rather watch, or be watched? Julia is hosting a dinner party. As her guests’ and the audience’s searing eyes tighten upon her, Julia’s world starts to unravel. Described as a standout piece of writing and directing, University of Bristol’s DramSoc presents Gaze, a raw reminder of the age of observation and surveillance that we live in. In this psychological dark comedy which twists the conventions of traditional playwriting, characters and audience alike are forced to reconsider their relationships with theatre, self-image and artificiality. Are we all complicit in Julia’s failure, or was she doomed from the start? Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
