Funniest thing I saw at the 2019 Fringe; their Loch Lomand improvised song is burned into my brain!

It was so lucky that I starting talking to someone in a queue for another show who recommended this to me, as this was the absolute highlight of my Fringe (saw 17 shows) The talent of these two is unbelievable both with Frisky’s voice and Mannish’s amazing skills on the keyboard but they are both just so funny with their originality and intelligence shining through. Thank goodness they are touring this show and I can go see it again in Margate (and PLEASE come to London again soon!)

This is one of the best things I have seen on stage EVER!! Frisky and Mannish are both incredibly talented, vocally and comically and their observations on some of the key pop players and music are brilliant. Frisky's ability to sing in a variety of genres demonstrates her amazing vocal talent. I will definitely be trying to see this act again when they tour this year. Not to be missed.

Hilarious, smart and deliciously camp, this pair is oozing with talent - with impeccable comic timing and a voice unlike any we have heard at the Fringe. Thoroughly recommend to any and all music fans, regardless of age - even if a couple of gags sail over your head (solely because of their sheer range of cross-genre appeal), the pair are eminently engaging and a big old hoot with a lot of heart. Frisky, you make us proud to be Alts!

Awesome show. The best entertainment at the Fringe by a country mile. Frisky's voice is amazing and she can sing absolutely anything. Mannish's keyboard skills, singing and comic timing was exemplary. Fantastically entertaining. If you only see one show, make it Frisky & Mannish! Love it, love it, love it

This show was one of my favourites at the Fringe. The writing and delivery was amazing and so funny. They are an incredible comedy duo and I laughed the entire time. Everyone should see this show, it’s fantastic.

Despite Frisky & Mannish being festival fixtures I only saw them for the first time a fortnight ago at their Chiswick warm up - and immediately fell in love with them. This was the same set, but was just as funny and professional as last month’s. Their pretence as professors in a Poplab is a clever device that allows them to delve into pop genres and play with them. As well as Frisky having a fabulous and impressively versatile voice, both are accomplished actors; as a result the performance is far far more than just a set of funny songs. Totally engaging,

I was lucky enough to catch Frisky & Mannish's PopLab show last night, and was even fortunate enough to briefly meet them after the show. PopLab was absolutely incredible! My mate & I were laughing hysterically the whole way through! What a show! Where else can you hear Beyoncé, Cliff Richard & Fleetwood Mac songs with a scientific theme? Brilliant singing and comedy in an absolutely jam-packed hour! Both the stars work really hard for the whole event, and their smooth, slick preparation & chemistry really shines through. There are so many musical references you could see the show several times and still not get them all! I mean, the going round the twist theme?? Brilliant!

Do yourself a favour and catch them in Edinburgh whilst you can (word of mouth will sell out their show incredibly soon). Honestly it's one of the best things I've seen in years.

Thank you Frisky & Mannish! I'll definitely go again if you come back to the Fringe in the future. Keep up the good work!

Oh my God, they’re back again. Eleven years since they debuted with School of Pop and a good while since they last performed at the fringe, Frisky and Mannish (aka Laura Corcoran and Matthew Floyd Jones) are back with a show that’s a reminder of just how much fun this...

It’s been ten years since comedy music duo Frisky And Mannish burst onto the Fringe, and seven since their last new show. This year’s festival sees Laura Corcoran and Matthew Floyd Jones—certifiable Fringe royalty—return with PopLab, another hour of silliness with songs. It’s a show of two halves – the...

Frisky and Mannish are like the Freddie or Elton of the Fringe – right royal legends. It’s hard to believe they’ve been romping over the stages of Edinburgh for a decade (I swear, they look exactly the same as they did when I first encountered them all those years ago)....
