Description

'Raw. Sexy. Salacious' ***** (Epigram.org.uk). Freak explores female sexuality, self-image, and sexual exploitation. It follows the sex lives of two women of different ages, embarking on very different experiences, as the same societal ideals influence their decisions. Compelled by the recent shedding of light on sexual abuse in the media and the cancellation of compulsory consent workshops at universities, Bristol-based company Bullet Theatre boldly and unashamedly explore the experience of being female, combining unique choreography with Anna Jordan's poetic writing. This amateur production is brought to you by arrangement with Nick Hern books.
