Description

A highly anticipated brand-new hour from comic legend Frank Skinner ('King of stand-up' (Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard)), following his sell-out hit Showbiz. 'Frank Skinner has funny bones... even at the top of the comedy tree it's rare to see his sort of fast-thinking but slow-talking instinctual wit...' (Dominic Maxwell, Times). 'Doing what he does best... the gags just keep on coming. Stand-up's coming home' (Mark Wareham, Mail on Sunday). 'Skinner is warm, impeccable company and his way with a punchline is masterful... a delight.' (Paul Fleckney, Guardian).

I first saw him 25 years ago and he still manages to make myself and the sold-out theatre belly laugh for an hour.

The Telegraph (4/5 stars) 47 days ago

At 66, it’s as if Frank Skinner is groping his way into a post-mainstream phase (and there are a few self-deprecating remarks about his status) where he’s allowing himself a few more rounds of the stock-in-trade smut that propelled him to the top.

The Wee Review (5/5 stars) 48 days ago

Skinner seems more mellow, laidback and reflective than his younger self, but this gives the show a depth that is not often found in contemporary stand-up. As a comic he is still up there and this is stand-up at its very best.
