Description
Fimbo Butures (Maya Williams and Lizzy Tan) bring For you: wicked to the Fringe after a world premiere at VAULT Festival 2023. This dance-camming-performance-art piece asks what it means to be Not Safe For Work – is anyone safe from work under capitalism? Drawing from experiences in camming, life modelling, stripping and formal dance training, For you: wicked is a reflection on how sexualised and racialised femme bodies move through capitalism, surveillance and oppression. In a manic game of dress up, Fimbo Butures conjure a realm somewhere between online/offline, girl on girl, sight and site. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
