Description
From wild dance tunes to solemn laments, frenzied improvisations to lush Baroque compositions, Highland strathspeys to Lowland ballads, join US National Champion fiddler Tim Macdonald and Baroque cellist Lucia Capellaro for a scintillating hour celebrating the diversity and virtuosity of Scottish fiddle music in the 18th century. 'There is an inherent feeling for wild music in Scottish nature, and there is a definite relationship between the rhythms of reels and the Highland fling and the music I play' (Duke Ellington). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
