Description

‘This miserable country is one of the wettest places in Europe. And we practically invented water engineering. So how come we’re flip-flopping between sewage on our beaches and hosepipe bans?’ A journey from Victorian London’s Great Stink to the impending jaws of death, Flow explores our relationship with clean, safe and abundant water: how we got it, how we’re placing it in jeopardy, and how we might live if we lost it. Comic and tragic in equal measure, Flow explores how we struggle to think about the future – and how we deal with the consequences.
