Description

Cambridge-based theatre company, The Two Jays, present five short Zoom plays; some funny and some tragic, in which truths are spilled. In the award-winning A Foray Into Romantic Fiction (Best Zoom Theatre Script, Manhattan Rep's Stories Film Festival, May 2021), a creative writing student (former Blue Peter presenter, Liz Barker) inadvertently reveals something embarrassing. Two other pieces feature shocking end-of-life disclosures and Titania catches Puck making mischief on an Inverness heath. Finally, you get to meet a dysfunctional couple who you could actually encounter out and about in Edinburgh in the final week of the Fringe!

Five quintessentially British stories - secret spilling in may guises and forms, there are a few touching and funny moments. Well worth the price of a coffee and cake. Original and varied content and a great snapshot of complex inner lives and how these got played out via zoom this past year or so.

Very imaginative and thought provoking themes. Well edited. I love that there is a live sequel being performed on the streets in Edinburgh, just a shame I am not there in person to see it. Really glad I bought the tickets
