Description

Edinburgh's favourite Guardian-approved naughty boy is back! And he's bringing with him a brand-new hour of painfully funny stand-up for 2022. Since his last visit to the Fringe, he's got married, had a kid and watched on with bemusement as comedy evolves into a platform for Generation Z to earnestly discuss their self-diagnosed mental health conditions. So plenty to work with. As seen on Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Mash Report and more. 'Gleefully provocative, explosively funny' **** (Guardian).

Now. I appreciate comedy is subjective. But Fin Taylor’s set is, was, and probably always will be riotously dammed hilarious. Fringe highlight. Objectively fantastic. Other opinions are, obviously, wrong.

I love all sorts of comedy, and I'm not easily offended. I hated this. Mean-spirited, arrogant, and painfully unfunny. There are so many other brilliant comedians at the Fringe. Don't waste your time and money.

As both the previous reviews have identified this is kinda dark comedy, willing to laugh at everything and anything. It does this perfectly for people who understand where it's coming from. Had half the audience in tears of laughter at points. Obviously not for everyone but if you go in knowing what type of comic he is this is a brilliant show.

There's so much going on in the world there's really no need to poke fun at mental health, suicide, Ukraine or other subjects that will be close to people's hearts. A few funny jokes, but on the whole I didn't enjoy this.

Probably,... no, without question, the most overbearing, seemingly entitled and arrogant pillock at this year's Fringe.
And that is NOT meant to be complimentary....
His infant child, for those of you yet to become parents, might conceivably be an acceptable target for his cheap 1970's jibes, however the prevailing atrocities in Ukraine and/or the tragic loss of young life through suicide ARE NO LAUGHING MATTER !
With many hundreds of acts to chose from, there is so much clever, original and extremely funny talent at this year's event.
Don't waste your money, or your time, on this one.....Edinburgh sets a high bar so do you really want to wallow in the gutter ?
