Description
Seven songs tell the story of a young woman born in independent, post-occupation Estonia and the Soviet residue that restrains feminist progress by polluting the minds of some of her fellow countrypersons. The Kaisa Ling Thing (Kaisa Ling, vocals, plus Rene Paul, piano and vocals) paints a vaudevillian blues portrait of what it’s like to be a modern woman on the doorstep of Russia. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Great show all round. Amazing vocals and funny story telling. Recommended by both me (non eastern-European) and my girlfriend (Eastern European)!

Brilliant show, good music, fab vocal, top blues piano - and refreshingly political jokes. In the more quiet, posh bit of town. Absolutely recommended.

You know the show’s good when you’re still singing the songs from it two days later! Beautiful voice, awesome songs, definitely check it out!
