Description

Doctor Faustus, a respected scholar seeking to acquire greater knowledge, turns to necromancy to summon the Devil and his servant, Mephistopheles. He exchanges his soul for 24 years of unlimited knowledge and power. As time runs out and he wastes his new-found magic on parlour tricks and pranks, he realises a dark fate awaits him. Can Faustus be redeemed, and can his soul be saved?

Dr Faustus streaks the show alongside a creepily convincing Lucifer.

A gripping performance of Marlowe’s play in an intense battle of redemption vs temptation, with comic relief in all the right places.
