A heartwarming, relatable and incredibly well written show. Through his exceptional storytelling, Callaghan had the audience wrapped round his finger, tugging our heart strings one moment and making us cry with laughter the next. As excellent as he was a performer, his imaginative use of animation, model sets and camera work captivated a child-like wonder and drew us closer to the human stories within. Above all else, each tale held originality and truth. Overall, the show was a breath of fresh air for theatre and storytelling that left any fringe-goer leaving lighter than they went in. ***** (Five stars)

This was an excellent multimedia performance. The animations brought the stories to life, with much detail to be found in the individual boxes. Worth seeing.

This show was the highlight of the Fringe for me. David is an exquisite and engaging storyteller. His set boxes are stunning, and how he combines both emotional charged and comedic stories with animation and the train camera is extraordinary and clever. I left wishing I could see it again. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW.

A really beautiful, funny, heartwarming, poignant, life-affirming set of stories, delivered with charisma and passion, peppered with really really good jokes and augmented with a model train, some very cool miniatures and some clever animation. It's ambitious as hell but David pulls it off so perfectly. Fascinating and impressive. Will make you laugh and also feel things. Go and see this show!

This show really warmed my heart - the script was poignant, well-written and satisfyingly came full circle despite the totally individual stories throughout. Also, the tech was so creative!!! David even let us stay behind after to have a look at the models up close. What a talent. Hugely recommend.

Great show. Brilliant story teller; effortlessly ( at least on surface - probably took a lot of doing!) managed both pathos and comedy. Well worth seeing.
