Description

Escape from the House of Mercy is a dance/theatre work which looks at institutions which have compromised the rights of women in the past and the present through the buried stories and embodied history of the workhouses of the US and Ireland. The performance includes movement, voice and visual elements to create a world which considers the distance travelled and the road still ahead for women’s rights around the world.
