Aurigami (Malcolm Ball – ondes martenot/hand percussion, Kate Cuzner – flutes/live electronics). The Emancipation of Resonance. Synchronicity flies between two highly accomplished multi-instrumentalists, folding sound into fascinating shapes and textures using acoustic, analogue and digital sources. Every performance is a premiere with no pre-planning or rehearsals. All Aurigami's music is improvised, influenced by imagination, knowledge and atmosphere. The unusual variety of styles and combination of instruments played and techniques used, create a refreshingly different dimension to the world of improvised music.
