Description

Welcome to Duffy and Elf Lyons' bank heist. A hysterically funny physical show with Visual Vernacular (VV), conducted in British Sign Language with some very violent live sound foley. Duffy and Elf are friends. Duffy signs, Elf doesn’t. Elf speaks, Duffy doesn’t. Let’s see how this works out… This is a comedy show. This is a bank heist. This is a love story. You've never seen anything like it. Created by award-winning performers Duffy and Elf Lyons. 'Praise her genius – and go' ***** (Telegraph). Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show nominee.

5 stars! Hilarious and innovative use of sign language and standup. If you like your comedy weird and memorable, this may be the show for you. :)

Elf Lyons and Duffy have created a hilarious, inclusive show that is a testament to both their immense talent and the chemistry they share onstage. The conceit is that Elf and Duffy will tell us a story about a heist, the caveat being that Duffy is deaf and Elf is not fluent in sign language, but this is really an excuse for an hour of completely committed clowning that crescendoed into one of the best and most joyful experiences I've had all Fringe.

Incredible. If you like it when Daffy Duck argues with the animator, there's a similar looney vibe to this pair. Exceptionally funny storytelling across sign language and spoken, with all sorts of clever diversions and interaction. The sort of show where you'll laugh your ass off, and you'll have never seen anything quite like it.

Hilarious. Loved that you can’t tell where the script ends and ad libbing begins. Very slick chaos.

This nonsensical Heist is the epitome of fun. It's a vehicle for Elf and Duffy’s creative expression, in all the forms that it takes, and we’re just there for a wild ride.
