Description

An insightful and moving documentary about a thirty-something man and his relationship with the life-size AI doll he lives with, who is animated through an app. The real focus of this beautiful film is his honest reflection and the complex personal history that has led him to develop this confined yet very real relationship with the doll. This is a clear-eyed, open-hearted and fascinating take on machine learning and AI, and the social implications for people who may seek safety and control over their circumstances in ways they cannot find elsewhere in life. Cert: 15.
