Description

A gripping feature debut from co-directors Jim Weir and Jack Clark that provides a worthy revival and addition to the Australian horror tradition. When Louis convinces his fiancé Irene to join him and his friends on his stag do in a remote house in the Australian bush, the night slowly devolves into chaos, exposing the dark underbelly at the heart of their relationship. Birdeater artfully blends psychological horror with a poignant exploration of toxic masculinity that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Cert: 18. Screens with Make Me A Pizza (US, 13min).
