Russell T Davies is the man behind classic and acclaimed TV series Doctor Who, Queer As Folk, Torchwood and Cucumber, among many others. Join the legendary screenwriter and producer as he discusses his creations, career and the broader TV landscape in this unique live event.

  • Accessible entry: There are 48 steps from the main entrance however there is separate level access entrance via a rear door on Lawnmarket. This is adjacent to the Johnston Terrace roundabout, and is next to the Ensign Ewart which is at 521 Lawnmarket, EH1 2PE. Please ring doorbell for entry.

  • Stairs: 20+

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
