Description

Music of great halls, cathedrals and servants’ quarters is brought to life by the group who have been delighting Fringe audiences since 1973. A dozen musicians play a huge range of period instruments including shawms, cornetts, sackbuts, nakers, crumhorns, viols, fiddles, recorders, bells, bagpipes, rackets and a serpent. Entertainingly introduced by Murray Campbell, it is a truly joyous experience for all ages. ThreeWeeks Editors’ Award winner 2017. 'I love early instruments; I like their names, their funny shapes and their sound... I was entranced... an hour of historically accurate, good humoured entertainment” (ThreeWeeks, 2016).
