Description
August 1815. The Duke of Buckingham is dead – but the feelings on this are decidedly mixed. At the Buckingham estate, his widow Selina discovers she must remarry within seven days or lose everything. So, when the perfect candidate appears, she thinks the problem is solved. Only something much darker is happening. And as an unlikely affection emerges, nastier truths come to light. With her bankrupt family depending on her and a power-hungry social climber gunning for her title, Selina's running out of time. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Good enough story — there's lots to work on in terms of directing and acting. LOTS. Shoutout to the actors who carried the show ; the brother and the housekeeper, who unfortunately was seen very little when she was so clearly above her castmates who had several roles when she should have.

The Ruckus Theatre Co is described as "platforming disenfranchised group". So good effort, and with practice may the performance improve. But it isn't there yet.

A fantastic group of young performers bringing great energy to their roles in a period murder mystery. Highly recommended.

Buying a ticket for this show was the worst decision I ever made at the Fringe.
Walking out was the best.
