Description

'Down the hatch!' yells our vicious Queen as yet another storyteller disappoints her. Swallowing the storyteller in just one gulp the Queen turns to her remaining servants, who quake and tremble. Will they be next to go Down the Hatch? Or can they save themselves and their friends with the best story she's ever heard? Come along for some family fun and hear some great stories told with a great deal of imagination and if you feel up to it, you could even help our poor servants with the telling of their tales.

Such a laugh! The cast had me engaged from the get go, and booing and cheering through out. Felt like the whole room left as friends as we helped the gang out.

Best show I’ve seen at The Fringe!! Wonderful cast and great storyline. Perfect fun for the whole family. The BBC would be missing a trick if they didn’t televise this for kids! Amazing!!

This is a funny, well put together take on traditional fairytale. The actors engage the audience until the end and there is a strong message on breaking cycles running through the play. There is also warmth, silliness and surprises aplenty. Shout out to the Evil Queen Miseranda for keeping us genuinely on the edge of our seats and the puppet blue bird for the cuddles at the end - my kids gave the show ' a zillion stars

Had seen a preview of the show but was very excited to see it at the fringe. Must say it was even better the second time. Would love to try and see it again before it ends. Get your kids along they will love it. Well done to all involved.

My kids bumped into the Blue and the cast every day we were in Edinburgh and by the end of the week they felt like friends. Fantastic show for little ones and thoroughly enjoyed by the adults too. Penny, in particular, loved making Blue laugh by tickling his feet!

I was expecting a good kids show, but what I got was just a great show. Family friendly and plenty to keep adults and children entertained alike. Well written and excellently performed I had a blast and while I won't spoil the ending it wasn't what I expected in the best way
