Description

In this award-winning solo show, Dominique performs 25+ characters while inside a tiny box. (Think SNL performed in a cupboard!) Each time the doors swing open, Dominique transports you to a hilarious new reality including: a lonely giantess, a drunken couple mid-fight, the entire Greek Army inside the Trojan Horse, and more! With sketch-style characters and musical numbers, The Box Show is an adrenaline-filled roller coaster ride that plunges its audience into different worlds without ever leaving The Box. 'Purely delicious…a paragon of Fringe form' (New York Times). 'Intensely creative' (Time Out).

Fantastic show, very different and so clever. Dominique was amazing at creating believable characters and environments within a tiny space, a small box with everything she needed for each different sketch inside the box with her. Her acting and facial expressions were brilliant and I laughed a lot throughout the show. It’s definitely one I will always remember for how different and clever it was. 5* from us.

An utterly hilarious show you wish would never end. The performer is a brilliantly talented actor, singer and comic bringing a superb range of characters to the stage from just one box. A must see for the fringe.

An absolutely ingenious show! Dominque displays a huge amount of imaginative AND physical versatility to bring to life such varying characters from "Frida Kahlo attempting to paint a smile" to an engagement ring hoping to be used... and the most imaginative depiction of a birth. Entertaining, moving and very fun!

Amazing, don't miss it! Her use of stage picture was brilliantly done with such a small space. Her sketches invoked a lot of feelings - some hilarious some sad and poignant. Definitely grab a ticket to experience this show!

Very original, and creating an unusual concept performing in a box! A huge talent all round, singing, playing different characters, using interesting props. Recommend!

A very original concept, beautifully performed. And wow, a great voice as well! Clever does not begin to describe this show, it's so much more. Not your everyday Fringe show, well worth your time and effort!

Very funny, very clever and very skilled. Who knew that a box could be the perfect stage set for so many uniquely imagined scenarios and characters! Dominique Salerno is hugely talented, and an absolute scream, turning on a dime to deliver genuine emotion, in the most unlikely contexts. Highly recommended.
