Description

The Great Baldini (Emperor of Illusion/Maharajah of Mystery) is a magical legend, a relict of the music halls, a performer of the old school. Known the world over, he is a hugely entertaining stage magician. But Baldini is also the shadowy leader of the sinister Illusionati: elite magicians controlling the world through the magical dark arts. In Dirty Tricks, Baldini demonstrates how the illusionati rig elections, launder money and orchestrate assassinations. A wholly (im)plausible conspiracy theory. Imagine Tommy Cooper meets Blofeld. 'Incredible' (Front Row, BBC Radio 4). 'Charming, Engaging, charismatic' (FringeReview.co.uk).

Outstanding, loved it!

The blurb says the show will “demonstrate” how the illusionati rig elections, launder money and orchestrate assassinations”. Actually, it’s nothing to do with that. It’s just a first rate magic show. One of the best I’ve seen at the Fringe. Well-scripted and performed, with a focus on conjuring and mind reading. If you fancy a traditional magic show, this is the one to go for.

Very fun and enjoyable show. One of the best magicians i’ve see at the fringe.
