Description
Meet Australian Outback restaurant owner Sheila and journey through her life with stories, song, bush verse, photographs and mouth-watering recipes. Sheila, born in the 1920s, was a remarkable woman and her dessert trolley was famous throughout the region. This multimedia presentation is a tribute to the resilience of our Australian bush-pioneering women, many of whom rode horses to school, raised families, cooked for shearers, lived through wars, hardship, droughts and floods, and struggled with isolation and the harsh outback. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
