Description

Australian comedian David Quirk quit comedy in 2017. He had had enough. Four years later, he emerged with a story about the day he ended a 32-year-old family vendetta – A truth. A lie. Obsession. Stalking. Art. His brilliant football brother. His immigration agent sister and an actual Prince lip-sync dance thing that sent his career careering…. and it was nominated for the biggest comedy prize in Australia. DQ neva left, but DQ is back. This is Astonishing Obscurity.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: Stand 4 is accessible from the pavement with steps leading to a courtyard. The venue is situated in the basement part of the building. There are 15 steps in total with a 90 degree turn. Once inside the venue, it is level access to stand 4 with a right turn.Staff always available to help and assist access customers where appropriate.

    • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible

  • Stairs: 11- 20
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
