Description

Growing up gay in small town, 90s Kent, it is easy to think your sexuality is the reason you don't fit in. But what if it's not? Explore the expectations, struggles and disappointment of being a gay man at the same time as being not quite good enough. One-liners and intelligent jokes woven into heartwarming storytelling in this romp through David's journey to be good enough that will make you laugh, think and reflect on your own sense of belonging. 'Totally engaging, full of character. Superb stand-up, infectious routine' (Boyz).

Caught this show last night and so glad I did. Very funny and well put together, the perfect combo of touching and filthy. David is a hugely likeable performer and the (criminally small) audience loved every second. Any show that works as a tribute to Cher so heavily signals it’s been made by the Perfect Gay. Catch this while you can!

Hilarious, wonderful, excellent!!

I'm so glad we stumbled across this show - It had me laughing from the start to the end. As a gay man, I could really relate to the more serious undertones but don't worry, David (and his dog) take good care of you during those moments! We could easily watch this show again and will be following David on his career for sure!

Thankyou for bringing us such joy

Heart warming and funny telling of a journey of self discovery,
Worryingly I almost ticked all the boxes to be a perfect gay and found myself singing along with "Oh I'm such a perfect gay!
Fab show! Go along, relax and enjoy!
