Dave's shows always push the boundaries and Necromancer is no different!
A stunning, visceral and often hilarious performance of horror magic delivered by one of the Free Fringe's living legends.
Go this show.

"How does he do it?"
This is a much darker, much creepier version of some of the mentalism work he does in his other shows. And despite the harsh character he's playing, and his constant threats, Dave manages to be respectful of people's personal lives in a cunning way. He was born to be a star and in this new show of his, he gets to play a malevolent, sinister character, that I still can't help but adore!
His timing is exquisite. He didn't miss a beat or take a single misstep. It's possibly the best show of his I've ever seen and I've seen him many, many times before. If you like the kind of mentalism that Derren Brown is known for, go and see his Fringe equivalent!

Necromancer is a beautiful celebration and synthesis of horror, magic and games resulting in an experience like no other. Without a doubt one of the best shows this year.
There is so much respect and love in this show and the way in which he bends these genres to his will to create an entirely new immersive experience is truly even more magical than the necromancy (which is also fantastic!).

Very fun and funny magic show that's just a little bit spooky. David Alnwick's stage presence is incredible!

A couple of the tricks are the same as the '.. is a magician' show, but are presented in a much more ghoulish way.
I particularly liked the 'secrets' section of the show.
Deservedly full, even on a Monday afternoon - get a free ticket from the bar an hour before it starts.

Feel like a kid again, excited, scared and wondering what is real?! For anyone who loves magic and spooky stories. Had an amazing time, David is both charismatic and more than a bit spooky. Well worth seeing, engaging your mind whilst letting you suspend your grownup logic for an hour!

Magic and mindreading for adults. You might not want your darkest secrets revealed to an audience of strangers - tough shit. You will be "volunteered" to assist the Necromancer, as he predicts the precise time of your demise, and unearths hiddens truths during 60 mintues of tense fun.
Go on, what have you got to hide?!
