I love bibby. What a performer. I feel so safe in his comedic hands. And what beautiful hands they are.

Hilarious, energetic and a bit of a master with a beat. We happened across the show minutes before it was due to start and we’re so glad we did. I’d not heard of Dave before but I’ll be looking out for his future appearances from now on. Thank you for an hour of abdominal workout through the medium of laughter.

What a show! It's got cats, catchy tunes and gaurenteed laughs. Dave-the-Bibmesiter, the funniest Kwik Fit fitter, takes you to Neverland and leaves you wanting more. The audience participation is gentle and easy going, and really bring the room together. You'll leave wishing more 'lads' were like this one!

Without a doubt this is my pick of the fringe 2019 (I havent ever left an audience review before, I made an ed fringe account with the sole purpose of telling people how much I loved this show) Of 6 years of coming to the festival I have never laughed so hard!! I was completely taken back to my 90s childhood but I am convinced an audience of any age could enjoy this show! Dave claimed "this show isnt layered", but for me this was the perfect balance of clever jokes, catchy songs, cute cats and a critique of lad culture, already planning to come back with some friends again before leaving Edinburgh. I could not reccomend this show more highly!

Hands down one of the funniest shows I've seen this year at the fringe. Dave's show is purrfect for kitty lovers and haters alike, and if your entire cultural awakening revolves around 80s and 90s pop culture, then you're in fur a treat. Do yourself a favour and see this show, you won't regret it. So funny, you won't flea-lieve it!

For a show with 'Lad' in the title, performed in a sports bar...I wasnt expecting much, but it was raining so I thought I'd take a punt on it, and I'm so happy I did!

I've never felt so comfortable in a comedy show, like most people I usually hate audience interaction so I made sure to sit at the back, but Dave is such a warm, welcoming guy you can't help but want to get involved, and by the end I was wishing I had sat in the front row.

Hilarious characters, histericaly funny songs and some outstanding stand up- If you're going to take a chance on anything in the free fringe this year, make it this show!

ps- Is your sound guy single?

5* best stand up on the fringe.
I went along to this with a 60something year old stranger id just met at another show.

We both found ourselves laughing and relating from the get go. Dave doesnt just stand up and tell some funny jokes and sing some funny songs. His piece has a story throughout with intermittent cat 'bant'er (those who've seen the show will like my use of banter..) and it has a somewhat moving conclusion. Audience interaction and participation, games, nostalgia, brilliant songs too. If you love cats, you'll enjoy the cat parts, if you are put off by the fact you think its a show about cats... don't worry you are in very safe, funny hands (and its only a tiny bit about cats!)

I enjoyed Daves show so much that i took a bunch of flyers with me to hand out to people i meet around edinburgh!

A friend I recommended it to saw Ed Byrne, cruel intentions, friendsical, and various other shows and said on his way home thay Dave Bibbys Crazy Cat Lad-y was the best thing he saw at the fringe!

Its free so do yourself a favour and go see it (and then drop some cash in his jar after!!)

Enjoy :)

I've only ever seen Dave do the occasionally ten-minute spot, so was really intrigued at what an hour-long show would be. And what an hour! Sketches, songs and a wonderful play at the end. Fantastic audience interaction and just a very friendly environment. If you want to feel welcomed as an audience member, this is the show to see.

Dave Bibby is a multi-talented comedian who crosses into many genres, and his award nominated show (for its poster design) Crazy Cat Lad-y is something of a one-man variety performance, with stand-up, characters, rap, beatboxing, songs, sketches and a live gameshow that proved to be a real treat for a...
