A larger-than-life, theatrical celebration of the life and works of Gwyn Thomas. Set in the 1930s, the stories evoke a compelling wistfulness of life in the Rhondda Valley. Tales of death and exploitation, sex and family power are all bound together with wild humour and joyous humanity. A funny, violent and passionate depiction of a community teetering on the brink of life. Expect punch-ups, murderous plots, raucous nights and something lurking in the cabbage patch! It's all a great, big, sad, beautiful joke!
